KDE 3.5 Released Today!
On November 29th 2005, the much anticipated KDE 3.5 was released. If you have not already checked out what it has to offer, the KDE team has put together a very nice feature guide for KDE 3.5. Some of my favorite new features are the desktop pager and the vast improvements made to Konqueror. If you are like me, waiting for SuSE 10.1 in order to get your hands on KDE 3.5, is not an option. I could not even wait for the final release, I began using KDE 3.5 when the first release canidate hit the KDE Supplementary repository.
As a heavy KDE user, I can tell you that KDE 3.5 has some great new features and a very noticeable speed boost over 3.4. I have not had any serious issues with it, nor have I heard any reports of problems from other users. I will be posting instructions on how to upgrade to KDE 3.5 soon.
